To enjoy yourself or to give as a gift, gingerbread is a must-have on every Christmas table!
I like my gingerbread loaf cake not too “bready,” but not too “cakey” either. This version is soft and moist without being dense. I add buckwheat honey to deepen the flavors, and a bit of orange zest for a citrusy kick. On top of that, there is no sugar added; my recipe is made with 1/3 of honey. Enjoy!
Composed of: honey, buckwheat honey, flour, butter, milk, gingerbread spices, Ceylan cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and orange zest.
Decorated with: fig jam, dried figs, orange peels, pearl sugar, and cinnamon stick.
Weight: approximately 480-500g.
